I started Foxy-forties due to my love of hats and my striving to bring back hat wearing as the norm and not just for weddings and race meetings.
The early part of the 20th century was such an elegant era when nobody would leave the house without a hat – men and children included!
Here is just a small selection of my collection. Very rarely do I get two hats the same, they really are one offs and it’s getting more and more difficult to find these little gems.
Conditions vary from Mint to Well Worn, this will be noted in the description.
I also have a small selection of vintage accessories including veiling and netting, handbags, gloves, glove clips, shoe clips and sweater clips and some fabulous authentic looking (modern) sunglasses.
